March Madness

what a great first and second round for the NCAA championship! Great buzzer beaters! Great big teams getting knocked off by great smaller teams! Western Kentucky making it to the sweet 16 (cant believe you guys didnt do that when Jack Jennings was a Hilltopper!) U.K. lost in the first round that they did deserve to be in, to a team that deserved to win against them. To all you U.K. haters, and there are a lot of you, the Cats wrapped up a bad season and are graduating two seniors. They are loaded with froshmen and sophmores and will probably have a good recruiting class coming in...they will be a force again in the next few years!

Good for you Xavier for overcoming a bad start and going off big time!! Suck it Duke, Arizona and USC for sticking it to my brackets!!!! Not that I would have won but...ya know, you gotta play for a chance to win!

Well God damn it! I heard about the special holiday that today is back in January and yet I totally forgot about it....today is, for all who do not know is the guys version of Valentines day. That is right...mark it on your calender for next year, March 14 is officially "Steak and Blow-Job" day! Remind your woman, she has to treat you right, cook you a kick ass steak and then she has to bob the knob for ya -the swallowing as always is up to her, which means if you are married forget about it, unless you married one of those cool kind of chicks!

In case you are wondering why my black ass is posting this when I should be getting a beej, is my wife works every other weekend, and luck of the draw has her working this weekend. I will demand a belated BJ during her next night off!

The Wire - Series finale

I just now got done watching the final episode of the series, and all I want to say about it is : If you did not have HBO and did not get to experience the show, please do not hesitate to rent it! Start with season One and watch the progression...it is honestly a thing of beauty!

All I know is that as soon as the series are available in a box set, I am going to buy and am going to nerd out to it big time , and this is my invite for all my bois to come and root for McNulty, Bunk, Marlo, Barksdale, Stringer, PropJoe, The Greek, Chris & Snoop and the youngin, Bubbles, Kima, Herc, Carver , Ronnie, Cheese, Beatrice, Weee-Bey, Namond, Bunny, and Randy (who was among many of the great characters who were denied an award for this amazing show)
Please keep up the good work HBO, what an outstanding series!!!

To everyone that thinks that Florida and Michigan should vote again so that their delegates are allowed to count in the Democrat primary process I say this : Are you fucking retarded?!? You Dems in both states thought that by moving your races up you could influence who was going to be the nominee. You were told by the Dem national committee that if you moved the date of your primary to the date you chose that your delegates wouldnt count and yet you did it anyway. So I say sorry about your freakin luck....stop the whole whining and crying bullshit about how the peoples vote not the "super delegates" should decide the race. Well ya know what, the people in other states are deciding and guess what, they are split down the middle and neither candidate will be able to get the nomination before the convention. I, for one, am happy to see a good old fashioned convention where backroom deals will decide who is a Presidential nominee.

-Congrats Brett Farve on finally retiring. You had a great season last year and it would have been hard to top at the end of your career. I do think it is funny how over the last two years reporters have been giving him shit for not retiring and when he finally does pull the trigger they have a heart attack about it!
